Chapter 21: Grocery shopping chance occurrence

Seeing Xu Yanyan coming out from the school gates, Linze immediately walked towards her.

At the same time, Xu Yanyan too discovered Linze approaching.

 「Big brother Linze.」

Xu Yanyan greeted Linze.

「Speaking of which, did you know I've met two of your classmates just now, they seemed to be two fellas who aren't bad at all.」

Linze said towards Xu Yanyan.

「Mm? So Big brother Linze saw my classmates huh, who were they.」

Xu Yanyan upon hearing Linze speaking as thus seemingly appeared to be a little strange.

「Yuanshen and Huang Huiju, you should know them, right.」

Hearing Linze say out those names, Xu Yanyan seemed to start trying her best to remember about it.

Seeing that attitude of hers, Linze knew that Xu Yanyan probably wasn't familiar with the both of them, and of course, there's a possibility that she's not familiar with a person amongst them.

Plus, it can be that though Xu Yanyan and the other party were students of the same school, they weren't students of the same class.

「If it's Huang Huiju, I have no recollection about that name. But for Yuanshen, I often saw him instead, and as he's the student council's vice president, so due to various reasons, though we aren't in the same class, we usually would be having a few words with other after a couple of days.」

After Xu Yanyan finished saying that sentence, she used a querying tone to continue questioning Linze.

「If it's schoolmate Yuanshen, why would they be seeing Big brother Linze earlier. They clearly should have afternoon lessons, plus he's the student council's vice president, and by right he shouldn't have been skipping lessons.」

Hearing such questioning from Xu Yanyan, Linze hurriedly steered the conversation away.

「Speaking of which, my stomach feels a little hungry already. Let's hurry up and go buy some ingredients.」

Linze hastily said.

After all, Linze couldn't possibly tell Xu Yanyan, that it was due to his actions being too suspicious, which caused him to be thought of as a pervertic master by Yuanshen.

With regards to that sort of shameful matter, Linze honestly didn't want others to know about it.

Plus Xu Yanyan and his sister had an excellent relationship with each other, and perhaps this matter would be very quickly passed into his sister's ears.

Should that be the case, his seniority as an elder brother would be even lower already.

Xu Yanyan strangely gave a look at Linze, but seemingly didn't have any intent on pursuing it.

「Mm, then Big brother Linze, where should we go to buy food ingredients.」

「I recommend that we go to the supermarket near my house, my dad always went there to buy foodstuff in the past. Plus, about the quality of the food over there, he's very satisfied with it.」

Linze suggested to Xu Yanyan.

「Mm, let's head there then.」

Towards Linze's suggestion, it seemed that Xu Yanyan didn't have any disagreement towards it.

The food ingredients laid out in the supermarket were rather well-ordered, hence as long as one knows what they wanted to buy, the selection of food ingredients were still relatively quick.

Without spending much time, the food ingredients had been selected, and Linze and Xu Yanyan arrived by the cashier area.

Since tonight was to let Xu Yanyan take up the work helping him to make dinner, Linze no matter what wouldn't let her pay for it, hence the money for these ingredients were all initiatively paid by him.

Using his left hand to lift up bags that were packed full of food ingredients, Linze and Xu Yanyan planned to leave the supermarket.

「Mmh? Isn't this Linze.」

Just when Linze and Xu Yanyan was about to walk out of the supermarket's exit, a girl's voice suddenly floated over.

Linze spun his head around to look, and noticed that the owner of the voice was Hanying.

Hanying currently was dressed in casual attire, and was seemingly planning to head towards inside the supermarket.

But it seemed that due to her noticing Linze, she thus stopped her footsteps and made a greeting towards him.

「Good evening.」

Linze too greeted Hanying.

「Mm, good evening.」

Hanying currently had her gaze affixed on Xu Yanyan.

「Linze, who's the middle-schooler beside you, she doesn't seem to be your sister.」

Hanying asked.

Towards Hanying knowing his sister, Linze wasn't the least bit surprised at all.

As Hanying in the past had once studied in the same middle school as him, with her house seemingly being nearby as well.

Back then, sometimes when Linze went to that supermarket to buy stuff, he would occasionally encounter Hanying there quite a couple of times.

Perhaps it was at that moment when she saw his sister.

Anyway, towards the matter of him having a blood-related sister, Linze had never attempted to conceal it from others before, hence quite a number of people in class were aware of it regardless.

「Yes, this person is my sister's classmate.」

「Oh, I see. Then I'll be seeing you tomorrow.」

As Hanying spoke, she seemingly didn't want to stay for long to chat with Linze, and after she finished saying towards Linze like thus, she appeared to be planning to leave.

「Hold on.」

Linze suddenly called out to Hanying.

「About that matter, what are your thoughts about it.」

Linze asked Hanying.

「I haven't yet decided that quickly, since its such an important response. Allow me to properly think about it.」

Hanying's emotions seemed to be a little agitated as she spoke.

「Understood, in any case please seriously consider about it.」

「Mm, of course. Well then see you tomorrow.」

As Hanying said, she seemed to notice that Xu Yanyan was looking at her, hence she bid farewell towards Xu Yanyan before leaving.

「How I wish that she would agree to my request.」

Linze murmured to himself, and without lowering his head afterwards, he said to Xu Yanyan.

「Let's go.」

As Linze said, he paved his footsteps forward, but for a moment, Xu Yanyan didn't follow along.

Just when Linze wanted to turn around to look at her, she suddenly moved her steps forward, arriving by Linze's sides.

And thus Linze and Xu Yanyan once more walked towards his house.

While on the way, Xu Yanyan suddenly opened up her mouth, questioning Linze with a cold voice.

「Big brother Linze, who's that woman earlier.」

「That woman earlier huh, her name is Hanying, she and I studied in the same middle school in the past, and currently is in the same class as me.」

Linze in any case didn't have any intentions on concealing it from Xu Yanyan, furthermore, it wasn't any such secret at all.

「I see, then from what she said, what's the matter that you wanted her to properly consider and agree about.」

Xu Yanyan used an enquiring tone that's seemingly not of a big deal at all as she questioned Linze.

「That matter huh, that's a secret. If it's successful in the future, I'll be letting you know about it.」

Since the manga club was still in the formation process, Linze didn't want to be so casually promulgating about it.

If he was to trumpet about it saying it out, with the manga club instead being unable to be formed, it would be too much of an embarrassment already.

「I see......so it's a secret of such importance that it cannot be disclosed to me huh.」

Xu Yanyan currently had her lips slightly stiffened as she spoke, with her tone still like as if she's talking about a very minor matter.
